We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing finance team. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of assigned client accounts, including billing, cash application, reconciliations, and collections. - Manage end-to-end billing and cash collections for assigned accounts
- Investigate, reconcile, and resolve account discrepancies and unapplied cash
- Process daily cash receipts and ensure accurate application to customer accounts
- Proactively contact customers regarding outstanding balances and delinquent accounts
- Prepare and issue delinquency notices as needed
- Resolve business submission issues related to missing or incorrect application data
- Maintain detailed, accurate account notes after all phone and email communications
- Correspond professionally with customers via phone and email
- Audit incoming payment transactions for accuracy and compliance
- Identify potential credit risks and escalate issues when appropriate
- Maintain acceptable AR aging for your assigned book of business
- Partner with the department manager to evaluate and implement billing and payment automation
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- High School Diploma required; some college preferred
- 1–3 years of Accounts Receivable, billing, or general accounting experience
- Strong understanding of AR processes and collections
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP (required)
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Comfortable working hands-on in a dynamic, high-volume environment
