Job Summary

The Vice President of Finance serves as the senior financial leader for the operating businesses within the Purpose Brands portfolio. This role partners closely with the business President(s) and executive team to drive financial performance, operational excellence, and long-term value creation – while maintaining alignment with the platform’s shared financial strategy and governance standards.

The VP of Finance is both a strategic partner and a hands‑on operator, responsible for financial planning, reporting, risk management, and supporting key growth initiatives across the business.

This role also has oversight and responsibility for the consolidation of the Purpose Brand’s enterprise budgets, forecasts and actual results ensuring that the Monthly Operating Reviews are completed accurately and on time.

In this role, the VP of Finance works with the Private Equity Partner as well as the CFO for any M&A activities and support any future capital structure changes to the Company.

Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions) Strategic Leadership
  • Serve as a key member of the Brand(s) leadership team, driving financial and operational strategies that support business growth and profitability.
  • Partner with the Brand President(s) and the CFO to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
  • Provide strategic insights and data‑driven recommendations to inform investment, pricing, and expansion decisions.
  • Oversee the manager supporting the brand(s).
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning processes for the Brand and its associated departments.
  • Partner with the data and analytics team to deliver monthly business review (M ) that is timely and insightful including analysis of performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Monitor KPIs and business trends to guide decision‑making and operational improvements.
  • Partner with the platform’s shared services accounting team to maintain accurate and efficient month‑end and year‑end close processes, reviewing A/R reserves and deferrals from domestic and if applicable the international franchisees and ensuring payment of royalties and fees.
  • Partner on audits with Master Franchisees ensuring reporting, compliance and receipt of all required fees.
Operational & Commercial Partnership
  • Collaborate with the Brand(s) to evaluate pricing strategies, margin improvement, and ROI on key initiatives.
  • Support business case development for new initiatives, investments, and partnerships.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing finance team that combines analytical rigor with business partnership.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a liaison between the Brand(s) and the shared services finance team to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
Strengths and Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including FP&A, operations finance, and accounting oversight.
  • Experience in a multi‑entity or platform environment strongly preferred (private equity or multi‑brand operator a plus).
  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior executives to drive business performance and transformation.
