Associate Director, General Accounting – Boca Raton, FL
Position SummaryThe Associate Director, General Accounting is responsible for overseeing general accounting, monthly financial close process and ensuring adherence to ADMA’s internal controls and procedures. In addition, this role will support the corporate controller with SEC filings, audit requests, and internal controls. Other responsibilities include ad hoc support and month‑end close optimization.
Essential Functions (ES) and Responsibilities- Manages the monthly financial close process to ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with ADMA's internal and external reporting requirements.
- Prepares the monthly financial consolidation as the foundation for ADMA's external financial statements, including cash flow and EPS.
- Reviews and approves balance sheet reconciliations on a timely basis and executes other SOX controls.
- Reviews and assesses SAP modules to identify process improvements. Implements new functionalities in SAP.
- Assists with preparation of technical accounting memos.
- Prepares and provides audit schedules during interim reviews and year‑end audits and assists the Corporate Controller in managing the audit process.
- Assists the Corporate Controller with the preparation of SEC filings and ad hoc reporting requirements.
- Assists with development of policies and procedures.
- Trains and develops accounting staff.
- Ensures adherence to ADMA's internal controls and accounting policies and procedures within and outside the Finance Department, identifying areas for improvement and greater efficiency.
- Works with cross‑functional teams as required.
- Assists with ad hoc projects as required.
Job Requirements
Competencies:
FDA Adherence.
- Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
Master’s a plus. - Experience Requirements:
Requires 10+ years of professional related work experience, Big 4 experience required. Manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Must be financial/detail oriented, possess excellent analytical abilities and be customer oriented. Must possess excellent communication skills.

Any delay or failure to comply with policies, standards and procedures is required to be communicated/escalated to the appropriate responsible parties, such as QA, HR, or EH&S depending on the issue.
