Finance & Operations Analyst

Finance & Operations Analyst – Travelpro is seeking a Finance & Operations Analyst to support both the Finance and Operations departments with timely and accurate reporting, analysis, and insights. This individual will prepare and maintain financial reports, perform variance and trend analyses, and support the budgeting and forecasting process. The role requires a detail‑oriented individual eager to learn, comfortable working with data, and able to communicate findings clearly to both financial and non‑financial stakeholders.

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Assist with freight and duty analysis.
• Support the weekly cashflow process.
• Maintain and improve reporting tools, KPIs, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses for management to support decision‑making.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience (internships, co‑ops, or prior analyst roles a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling, large data sets).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Teams, Powerpoint).
• Experience with financial systems/ERP software preferred (e.g., JD Edwards, Oracle, Net Suite).
• SQL or database knowledge and familiarity with Power
  
  BI/Business Intelligence software a plus.
• Analytical skills:
  Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and present insights clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain information to multiple stakeholders.
• Highly detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset with willingness to work across finance and operations.
• Equipment: PC computer or laptop.
