Summary:

** Mod Med is seeking a
** Manager, Accounting – Revenue
** who will be responsible for overseeing revenue accounting, reporting, and analysis to ensure accuracy, compliance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 606), and alignment with business objectives. This role partners cross-functionally to translate commercial activity into reliable financial outcomes while leading and developing a high-performing revenue accounting team.
** Your Role:
****** Revenue Recognition & Compliance:
**** Oversee revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, including review of customer contracts, amendments, and complex arrangements; ensure appropriate accounting treatment and documentation.
**** Month-End Close & Reporting:
**** Manage revenue-related close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and preparation of management and external reporting.

* ******* ore casting, Budgeting & KPI Management:
**** Partner with FP&A and business leaders to support revenue forecasting, budgeting, and tracking of specialty-level KPIs such as ARR, churn, and net revenue retention.
**** Cross-Functional Partnership & Deal Support
**** Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Deal Desk on deal structuring, pricing changes, and contract reviews to ensure revenue accuracy and compliance.
**** Team Leadership & Development
** Lead:
** Mentor, and review the work of revenue accountants and analysts; set priorities, provide feedback, and support career development.

Risk Management:

**** Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors on revenue matters; maintain and enhance internal controls and SOX compliance where applicable.
**** Process Improvement & Strategic Projects:
**** Identify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and reporting; support M&A, system implementations, and other strategic initiatives.

* Skills & Requirements:

*** Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
* Minimum: 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience with revenue exposure
* Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, specifically ASC 606
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
* Experience with Net Suite and BI/forecasting tools (preferred)
* Proven leadership and cross-functional influence
* Preferred: 3–5+ years in SaaS or technology companies; prior audit experience
* Active CPA license, preferred##
