Accounting Mortgage Servicing

Gelt Financial, LLC, a family‑owned private small commerical and business mortgage lender, buyer of debt established in 1989, is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Mortgage Servicing Manager to join our team in Boca Raton. Candidate must have very strong accounting skills

We are looking for someone who is energetic with a positive can do attitude who loves what they do who can work with little supervision and own our mortgage servicing.

This is a long‑term opportunity with a stable, well‑capitalized firm that values professionalism, accountability, and a family‑like work environment.

• Day‑to‑day servicing of private mortgage loans (residential Investment and small commercial)
• Payment posting, escrow tracking, and loan balance reconciliations
• Monitoring delinquencies, late charges, defaults, and workout arrangements
• Communicating professionally with borrowers, attorneys, and internal staff
• Handling payoff statements, loan modifications, extensions, and releases
• Managing servicing records, files, and compliance documentation
• Coordinating with accounting on reporting and reconciliations
• Supporting audits, investor reporting, and regulatory requests as needed
• Deal with attorneys in legal matters

• Strong accounting skills and capable of manually servicing loans (We do not service this way)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Comfortable with loan servicing systems, spreadsheets, and document management
• Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Reliable, ethical, and team‑oriented mindset
• Live within 30-45 minutes or so of our office in Boca Raton, FL
