Adolescent Client Care Coordinator

Adolescent Mental Health IOP/PHP

Location: Adolescent Wellness Academy (AWA) – Boca Raton, FL (On-Site)
Employment Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–8:00 PM
Program Launch: March 2026

About the Role

Adolescent Wellness Academy (AWA) is seeking an Adolescent Client Care Coordinator to support the launch and daily operations of our Boca Raton IOP/PHP program opening in March. This role is a key member of the care team, responsible for helping create a safe, structured, and supportive environment for adolescents and their families during evening programming.

The Adolescent Client Care Coordinator serves as a bridge between clients, families, clinicians, and operations—supporting supervision, program flow, communication, and client experience throughout the IOP day.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is calm under pressure, comfortable working with teens, and interested in growing within the adolescent mental health field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision and structure for adolescents ages 13–17 during evening IOP sessions

  • Monitor client safety during transitions, breaks, groups, and unstructured time

  • Support clinicians in maintaining program flow, schedules, and therapeutic structure

  • Greet and assist families at drop-off and pick-up with professionalism and warmth

  • Manage front desk responsibilities, including phones, attendance tracking, and sign-in/sign-out

  • Assist with wellness check-ins, incident documentation, and real-time communication with leadership

  • Respond to escalated behaviors using trauma-informed approaches and crisis protocols

  • Support day-to-day program operations with light administrative and organizational tasks

Qualifications
  • Experience working with adolescents in school, clinical, residential, or community settings strongly preferred

  • Spanish-speaking preferred, but not required

  • Ideal for students or recent graduates in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education, or related fields

  • Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and professionalism with both teens and parents

  • Organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-person environment

Why Join AWA?

As we prepare to open our Boca Raton location, Adolescent Client Care Coordinators will play a vital role in shaping the culture, structure, and daily experience of the program from the start.

At AWA, Client Care Coordinators are valued members of the treatment team. You’ll gain hands-on experience in adolescent mental health, receive mentorship and support, and contribute meaningfully to a program focused on safety, consistency, and compassionate care for teens and families.

This role offers strong exposure to the behavioral health field and opportunities for growth as the program expands.
