As Silver Palm continues to expand throughout Florida, we are seeking an experienced psychologist to serve in a leadership capacity supporting our growing team of psychologists. This position is designed for a clinician who brings sound professional judgment, strong communication skills, and an interest in mentoring and supporting other psychologists.
Position SummaryThe Head Psychologist – Florida State serves as a clinical leadership resource for Silver Palm Health Psych psychologists practicing throughout Florida.
Working closely with Silver Palm's clinical and executive leadership, this individual will support clinician development, peer consultation, onboarding, clinical quality, and consistency in professional standards across the organization.
The Head Psychologist will serve as a trusted resource for psychologists as they navigate complex clinical situations, documentation standards, interdisciplinary practice, and the unique demands of providing behavioral health services within medical environments.
This position provides an opportunity for an experienced psychologist to extend their impact beyond individual practice by helping strengthen the clinicians, standards, and clinical programs that support Silver Palm's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for psychologists across Silver Palm's Florida practice
- Provide peer consultation and guidance related to complex clinical situations
- Support the onboarding, orientation, and ongoing development of new psychologists
- Promote consistent standards for clinical documentation, ethical practice, professional conduct, and evidence-based care
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to identify opportunities for clinician education and professional development
- Support quality improvement initiatives and the continued development of clinical standards and workflows
- Participate in the development and refinement of clinical resources, training materials, and practice guidelines
- Help identify areas where additional clinician education, consultation, or support may be beneficial
- Encourage effective interdisciplinary collaboration within the medical environments served by Silver Palm
- Partner with senior clinical and executive leadership on clinical priorities and organizational initiatives
- Help foster a professional culture in which psychologists feel supported, connected, accountable, and encouraged to grow
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program
- Active license to practice psychology in the state of Florida
- Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in medical psychology, rehabilitation psychology, health psychology, integrated behavioral healthcare, or a related setting preferred
- Experience or demonstrated interest in mentorship, clinician development, peer consultation, or clinical leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with psychologists, clinical leadership, executive leadership, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Commitment to ethical practice, evidence-based care, quality improvement, and continued professional development
