Gold Coast Physical Therapy is hiring a full-time float medical receptionist for our southern locations in Palm Beach County (Boynton Beach, Delray, Boca). Candidates pursuing education in physical therapy, medical assisting or health administration are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Collect patient responsibility payments (copays, coinsurance, deductibles) at time of service
- Accurately enter and update patient demographic and insurance information in EMR system
- Schedule, confirm and manage patient appointments
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding patient scheduling and needs
- Work closely with insurance and billing departments at HQ to address patient account needs and resolve issues
Schedule:
Must be able to work within the hours of operation:
- Tuesday/Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Requirements:
All applicants must successfully complete a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida House Bill 531 (2025) and applicable state regulations. Candidates must meet all AHCA screening requirements prior to employment:
