These properties are operated by a team of more than 1,000 enthusiastic hospitality professionals.

This position is responsible for supervising, training, and inspecting the performance of assigned Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Lobby Attendants, ensuring that all procedures are completed to the hotel's standards. The role assists where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests, effective management of assigned staff to achieve overall financial results, guest satisfaction, and positive team member relations.

Responsibilities
  • Guest Service:
    Accountable for guest satisfaction by leading the housekeeping team; assigning, inspecting, and recording housekeeping actions in all areas of the hotel. Respond to guest concerns or requests in a courteous and friendly manner, focusing on service recovery when applicable. Works side by side with staff to train and model appropriate guest service standards. Achieves goals by developing and implementing service programs designed to increase guest satisfaction.

    Risk Management:

    Conducts routine inspections of housekeeping operations to maintain standards per

    F. Saul Company Hospitality Group, local, state and federal regulations. Keeps all information up to date in Material Safety Data Sheets to ensure proper procedures when using chemicals. Ensures a clean and safe work environment and follows all procedures for guest/team member incidents.
  • Associate Management and Development:
    Directs staff performance; takes appropriate corrective action as needed to hold team members accountable. Motivates staff by setting goals, providing ongoing feedback, and rewarding/recognizing team members. Assists with coaching, development, and required training, ensuring training records are maintained. Analyses quality issues, identifies training needs, and implements improvements. Utilizes available resources and adheres to training policies. Promotes collaboration and a positive, professional work environment.
  • Self/Workload Management:
    Attends all daily, weekly, and monthly department/hotel meetings to ensure proper communication and planning. Uses expertise to advise and implement changes to housekeeping operations as needed. Assists with housekeeping/laundry initiatives and meets productivity standards at the hotel level. Maintains high attention to detail, good communication skills, leadership ability, excellent problem‑solving, and organization skills. Manages multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with frequent interruptions and tight deadlines while adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures.
Required

Skills And Experience
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year housekeeping experience preferred. Must be detail oriented, communicate well with all levels within and outside the organization, and solve problems with team members and guests.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Bi‑lingual ability preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds on a regular basis throughout the shift. Significant bending required.
