Data Analyst III

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client seeking a Data Analyst III in Boca Raton, FL.

• Understand underlying data relationships and present insights through clear, concise dashboards that tell a compelling story
• Build and maintain data models, views, and structures to support accurate and scalable reporting
• Develop dashboards that are user‑friendly, scalable, and offer meaningful drill‑down capabilities
• Create automated routines for report refresh and delivery; build quick ad‑hoc solutions when needed
• Translate temporary solutions into sustainable dashboards aligned with BI strategy
• Improve raw data usability by collaborating with reporting teams and refining data structures
• Conduct analysis using appropriate methods, support stakeholders with insights, and perform root‑cause analysis on anomalies
• Track corrective actions and validate resolution to ensure ongoing data integrity
• Review dashboards for trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities; recommend improvements that drive efficiency
• Ensure accuracy, testing, documentation, and compliance across all reporting assets
• Maintain version control and documentation for data models, dashboards, and processes
• Build strong relationships across teams to understand evolving data needs and share best practices
• Support ad‑hoc analysis, reporting initiatives, and cross‑functional projects as required

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 8–10 years of experience required
• Experience with data collection: data cleansing, setting up measurement systems, relational databases, SQL queries, and transforming complex data into an analysis‑ready dataset; working knowledge of ETL tools such as Knime or Alteryx will be an added advantage
• Experience with data exploration: hands‑on experience in exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, data anomalies, and outliers
• Experience with data visualization: presents actionable insights in a simple story; advanced knowledge of visualization tools, especially Microsoft Power BI and Tableau
• Programming experience in languages such as R, Python and Excel Macros; good understanding of commonly used data science libraries and packages
• Strong communicator: able to communicate complex, detailed technical/analytical data via enhanced verbal and written communication skills to non‑technical/analytical audiences, senior management, and stakeholders as required
• Demonstrated advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills in dealing with large, complex data sets and projects; excels in conceptual thinking and proactively making recommendations for solution options
• Advanced computer skills in Power
  
  BI, SQL, and Excel and significant experience with applications within MS Office
• Results‑oriented, strong organizational skills consistently demonstrating the ability to independently prioritize concurrent initiatives
• Strong problem‑solving and collaboration capabilities, with a business partner/customer service mindset and consistent professionalism
• Independently and effectively navigate a highly matrixed organization, interacting and effectively influencing peers and various management levels

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
