Data Analyst, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst

We're growing fast and building the infrastructure layer for a multibillion-dollar market.
We're hiring a Head of Operations to take ownership of the systems, data, and people that make this business run. This role exists because we've reached the point where operational excellence is the difference between being a good company and a defining one.
What You'll DoManage and scale the full operational lifecycle: intake, underwriting, funding, servicing, repayment, and compliance. You'll be responsible for throughput, accuracy, and speed at every stage.
Be the operational voice in the data. We have Snowflake, internal dashboards, and a data/analytics team under our CTO. You'll be one of the most important users to that team. You need to be in the data every day, identifying what to measure, pushing for better dashboards, flagging when numbers look off, and translating operational needs into requests that make our reporting infrastructure smarter.
You'll close the loop between what the data team builds and what operations actually needs to run well.
Lead and grow a team across operations, compliance, and partner success. Set clear metrics, run tight processes, and develop people who can operate independently as we scale.
Own operational P&L and KPIs. You'll track cost per transaction, turnaround times, error rates, partner satisfaction, and portfolio health. When something moves in the wrong direction, you'll catch it first and fix it fast.
Work directly with the founders to solve the hardest problems in the business. Regulatory changes coming into effect, new product launches, funder integrations, servicing complexity as the portfolio grows. You'll be in the room for all of it, and we'll expect you to come with data and a point of view.
Prepare operational systems for the next phase of growth. We're heading into a Series A and scaling significantly. The playbooks, processes, and infrastructure you build now will determine how well we execute over the coming years.
In your first 90 days, you'll audit every operational workflow, identify the three biggest bottlenecks, and start fixing them.
Who You Are- 5-10+ years in operations leadership, ideally in fintech, financial services, lending, or another regulated, transaction-heavy environment. You've seen what good looks like and you've built it yourself.
- You are data-driven to your core. Not in a buzzword way. You build dashboards before you build opinions. You know that good operations means good measurement, and you're the kind of person who notices when a number is off before anyone else does. You don't wait for a weekly report to tell you something is wrong. You're in the data every day, and you're vocal about what you need from the analytics team to keep getting better.
- You're a problem solver who works from root causes, not symptoms. When something breaks, you don't just patch it. You figure out why it broke, fix the system, and make sure it doesn't happen again.
- You've built and led teams of 10+, and you know how to hire well, set expectations, and hold people accountable without micromanaging. You make the people around you better.
- You're comfortable with ambiguity and speed. We're a founder-led company that moves fast. You won't have a six-month onboarding plan. You'll need to learn the business quickly, earn trust through output, and start making things better from week one.
- Strong communicator who can work cross-functionally with our data and engineering teams, present to funders, work with attorneys, and explain operational metrics to a board. You translate complexity into clarity. When you see something in the data, you say it.
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA or similar is a plus.
This is a ground-floor leadership role at a company that is defining a category. You'll have real equity, real ownership, and a direct line to the founders. There are no layers of management between you and impact.
The work matters. Every process you improve, every day you shave off a funding timeline, directly helps an injured person who is waiting for money they need. This isn't abstract.
