We are seeking a highly technical and visionary Principal Architect, Analytics AI/ML Platform Engineering. This individual contributor role demands deep expertise in designing, developing, and managing data and analytics platforms across multi‑cloud hybrid infrastructures. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on technologist with a strong background in cloud‑native architectures, data engineering, and platform scalability.

• Expertise in cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong proficiency in containerization and orchestration:
  Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with data lake and data warehouse technologies:
  Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift, Azure Synapse.
• Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks:
  Apache Airflow, dbt, Informatica.
• Proficiency in programming languages:
  Python, Java, Scala, SQL.
• Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks:
  Apache Spark, Hadoop.
• Experience with real‑time data streaming:
  Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Azure Event Hubs.
• Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tools:
  Terraform, Cloud Formation.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance in cloud environments.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools:
  Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and tools:
  Collibra, Alation.
• Understanding of API design and microservices architecture.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in data engineering and platform development.
• Proven track record of building and scaling data platforms in multi‑cloud environments.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Architect and implement scalable data and analytics platforms across multi‑cloud and hybrid environments.
• Lead the design and development of cloud‑native data pipelines, storage solutions, and analytics services.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of data platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align platform capabilities with business requirements.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
• Establish best practices for data governance, metadata management, and data quality.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Drive automation and Dev Ops practices for continuous integration and deployment of data services.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in‑person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

U.S. base salary range: $ – $281,250 annually. Salary is based on individual education, training, experience and other factors.
