Information Technology Support Specialist

A growing pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Boca Raton is seeking an IT Specialist / IT Support professional to join their team. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, supporting cybersecurity practices, and ensuring reliable operation of systems within a regulated manufacturing environment.

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other IT equipment
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, operating systems, and user accounts
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, firewall rules/policies, VPN, email, system access, and software-related issues
• Support LAN/Wi-Fi networks, servers, backup systems, antivirus platforms, and IT infrastructure
• Assist users with Microsoft Office 365, shared drives, printers, SAP, and business applications
• Configure and support Azure platform environments and domain control policies
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers for maintenance and issue resolution
• Maintain IT inventory, asset tracking, software licenses, SOPs, and documentation
• Support onboarding/offboarding activities including user account setup and access deactivation
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, data protection, disaster recovery, and validation support activities
• Support conference room technology, video meetings, and communication systems
• Ensure timely resolution of helpdesk tickets and user requests
• Follow company procedures related to data integrity, confidentiality, and safety compliance

• 2–3 years of IT support experience, preferably within pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated environments

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, networking basics, and troubleshooting
• Experience with Azure platform configuration, domain control policies, firewall management, and SAP support preferred
• Familiarity with IT security practices, antivirus systems, backups, and user access management
• Experience supporting printers, network devices, and basic server environments
• Understanding of GMP environments and data integrity requirements is a plus

• Experience supporting ERP systems, laboratory systems, or manufacturing software
• Basic cybersecurity and cloud systems knowledge
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Salary:
Up to $60,000 annually
