Database Administrator

• Manage and maintain SQL Server and MongoDB database systems, ensuring high performance, availability, and security in a clustered database environment.
• Deploy, configure, and manage SQL Server and MongoDB databases in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Monitor database performance and proactively tune and optimize SQL queries, MongoDB operations, and cloud database instances.
• Implement and maintain database backup and disaster recovery solutions in the cloud.
• Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to gather and review requirements and create functional specifications.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in cloud and on-premises environments.
• Create and maintain database documentation, including data models, schema designs, and system configurations.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database administration, cloud technologies, and Dev Ops practices.
• Self-motivated, independent, detailed oriented team player.
• Performs on-call duties and system implementations and upgrades that may occur after normal business hours and weekends as required to minimize business impact.
• Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

4-5 yrs of professional experience in the following

• Experience monitoring servers, self-motivated, eager to help the team, proactive attitude & not waiting around for orders
• SQL server experience & upgrade experience
• MongoDB Experience OR another non-relational databases
• SSRS, SSIS, Maintenance work, upgrades
• SQL, report server - good with reports
• Queries from scratch
• Bachelor's Degree
• Coming from a large enterprise environment // Fast paced nature

• DBA does a lot of reporting, SSRS, SSIS, ETL, and helps the team with query optimization & takes care of the servers
• Database server management, helps the team optimize the queries
