One is pleased to partner with a nationally recognized, full-service law firm in its search for a Probate & Trust Paralegal to join its Private Client Services team in Boca Raton.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal who thrives in probate and trust administration and enjoys working closely with high-net-worth individuals and families. The firm offers a collaborative culture, sophisticated matters, and a hybrid work schedule.
Key ResponsibilitiesProbate & Trust Administration:
- Manage probate and trust administration matters from initial client contact through final distribution and closing
- Prepare asset information spreadsheets and organize financial documentation
- Draft probate and trust administration documents for client meetings
- Prepare and send status letters to clients and beneficiaries
- E-file court documents and deeds
- Communicate regularly with clients, beneficiaries, and outside advisors
- Collect and review necessary documentation and financial records
- Organize and index estate and trust materials
- Maintain calendars and track follow-ups to ensure deadlines are met
- Minimum 5+ years of probate and trust administration experience required
- Experience handling trust and estate administrations from inception through completion
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Four-year degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience required
- Experience with estate and gift tax return preparation preferred
- Experience working with high-net-worth families preferred
- Familiarity with Litify and Westlaw Firm Builder is a plus
- Estate and Wealth Preservation Planning experience a plus, but not required
