Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Litigation Associate/Attorney with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our litigation efforts, handling a diverse caseload, and contributing to the firm's growth and success.

Responsibilities:

Case Management:
Manage a caseload of litigation matters from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

Legal Research:
Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies, staying up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and precedents.

Client Communication:
Maintain effective communication with clients, providing updates on case progress, advising on legal strategies, and addressing client concerns.

Discovery:
Assist in the discovery process, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for documents, and other discovery requests.

Court Appearances:
Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and other court-related proceedings as necessary.

Trial Preparation:
Participate in trial preparation activities, including preparing witnesses, exhibits, and trial binders.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategies and provide insights on legal issues.

Business Development:
Contribute to business development efforts by building and maintaining client relationships, attending networking events, and participating in marketing initiatives.

Education:

Stay informed about legal developments and trends through participation in relevant seminars, workshops, and training opportunities.

Mentorship:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Active membership in the Florida Bar or ability to become a member within a reasonable timeframe.

2-4 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting, with a focus on commercial litigation, real estate disputes, or related areas.

Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.

Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in all work.

Proficiency in legal research tools, document management systems, and litigation software.

Prior trial experience is a plus.
