Head of Operations

GLC Group is partnering with a growing real estate private equity platform to identify a Head of Operations to lead and scale firmwide operations across acquisitions, asset management, and portfolio execution. This executive will partner closely with the CIO and Managing Partners to translate investment strategy into disciplined execution, scalable infrastructure, and consistent portfolio performance.

This role is designed for a senior operator with institutional experience, strong investor instincts, and a track record of building high‑performing real estate platforms.

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of the management company and portfolio platform
• Scale operating infrastructure across funds, strategies, and geographies
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and operational reporting
• Drive execution of asset‑level business plans across acquisitions, repositionings, development, and dispositions
• Monitor asset‑ and portfolio‑level KPIs; drive NOI growth through operational efficiencies
• Partner with the investment team on diligence, underwriting assumptions, and post‑acquisition integration
• Own property management systems (Yardi), data platforms, and reporting
• Build and lead internal teams; oversee third‑party operators and vendors
• Oversee risk management, compliance, insurance, and coordination with legal, tax, and audit partners

• 12+ years of experience in real estate operations, asset management, or private equity real estate
• Senior leadership experience within an owner‑operator or institutional operating platform
• Deep understanding of property‑level operations (industrial and/or retail preferred)
• Strong financial acumen with ability to connect operations to underwriting and returns
• Experience working with institutional LPs
