- Responsible for administering various tests, scoring and processing related materials.
- Conducts training for placement testing and responds to inquiries.
- Identifies and troubleshoots minor technical issues during the testing process as per established policies.
- Position requires the ability to work a fluctuating schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Sets up tests according to established protocol.
- Monitors the administration of various tests.
- Scans, scores and electronically submits test scores.
- Responds to complex inquiries from all levels of employees or external sources regarding a variety of questions, such as clarification of College or Campus policy and procedures.
- Directs students to proper portions of testing software and addresses minor problems.
- Ensures security and confidentiality of State, national, and college tests and records, scoring procedures and data collection and reporting.
- Provides students with disabilities with reading and scribe services.
- Welcomes and assists persons who come into the department.
- Provides administrative support to the department.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED with additional training related to the position - One year of related experience
- Knowledge of:
Microsoft Office Professional or similar application - Skilled in:
Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management - Ability to:
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations and take responsibility for a high level of service

The minimum base pay for this position starts at $16.51 hourly; however, the offer may vary based on the candidate’s education and experience. This position is open until filled with an initial review date of September 8, 2026.
