Job DescriptionThis position is under the direct supervision of the Group Leader with support and assistance from the Advanced Tech positions. This entry-level position helps with the manufacturing of plasma products by cleaning and sanitizing equipment and processing areas, preparing buffer solutions, and other tasks involving plasma receipt, pooling and protein separation.
Essential Functions (ES) And Responsibilities- Cleans and sanitizes equipment before and after use.
- Cleans and sanitizes manufacturing areas daily.
- Operates COP washer.
- Receives and de-boxes plasma units.
- Operates plasma bottle cutter.
- Operates pooling tank lift.
- Sets up and harvests centrifuges.
- Monitors centrifuge flow and temperatures.
- Prepares buffer solutions.
- Removes trash from the TCP and Fractionation areas (empty plasma bottles, etc).
- Maintains stock of gowning supplies.
- Make connections on flow panels for product transfers.
- Follows manufacturing SOPs and Batch Records.
- Additional tasks associated with advancement to the Tech II position.
- Ability to follow the cGMPs and procedures with great attention to detail.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED. Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience: GMP experience preferred.

This includes ensuring all Quality Assurance (QA) records and reports, Human Resources (HR) policies, and Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) procedures and practices are completed in a timely manner. Any delay or failure to comply with policies, standards and procedures is required to be communicated/escalated to the appropriate responsible parties, such as QA, HR, or EH&S depending on the issue.
