We are seeking an Industrial Mechanic with experience in mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, packaging systems, and basic knowledge of power and control electricity, especially in bottle‑sealing machinery. The candidate will be responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance to ensure operational continuity and high production quality. Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging and production machinery in filling and bottling lines.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system failures.
- Adjust, calibrate, and optimize sealers, cappers, labelers, and conveyors.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
- Perform changeovers and machine adjustments according to product requirements.
- Document repairs, parts used, and intervention times.
- Collaborate with the production team to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Comply with industrial safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality requirements.
- Support the installation of new equipment or line modifications.
- Technical degree in Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or related fields.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Proven experience in packaging and production lines.
- Ability to follow instructions and manage two or more tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to read and understand operator manuals, instruction manuals, and equipment documentation.
- Pneumatics (valves, actuators, flow regulators, compressors, and system operation).
- Air conditioning systems.
- Alignment and adjustment of shafts, pulleys, belts, and gears.
- Use of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches).
- Ability to diagnose failures and propose effective solutions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in rotating shifts.
- Results‑oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Organization, discipline, and strong safety awareness.
Candidates with experience in similar production environments, especially in companies dedicated to manufacturing and packaging—will be highly valued. Additional desirable qualifications include:
- Basic PLC knowledge (diagnostics only, not programming).
- Certifications in maintenance or industrial safety.
- Ability to read and speak both Spanish and English.
