Entry-Level Industrial Maintenance Technician

Role Summary

Entry‑Level Industrial Maintenance Technician – Engineering & Quality Team at Boca Raton, FL.

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on Ultrasonic Welders, Radio‑Frequency Welders, Laser Cutters (with filtration systems), Air Compressors and supply lines, Deionizing Air Guns, Computer‑Controlled Photographic Cameras, and Heat Sealers.
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop and track PM schedules for process machinery.
• Execute unplanned maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, communicating issues promptly.
• Perform machine upgrades and testing, ensuring every improvement supports quality service.
• Partner with Engineering and Production to implement maintenance logs, best practices, and operator‑led maintenance tasks.
• Identify opportunities for equipment and process improvements by understanding root causes.
• Work with cross‑functional groups to determine standard maintenance procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 2+ years of proven, relevant experience as a maintenance technician.
• Hands‑on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a deadline‑sensitive environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Takes direction well and responds constructively to feedback.
• Written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication & division).
• Basic computer skills (Email, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
• Curious and eager to learn new processes and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and respect for colleagues.
• Creative problem‑solving and long‑term thinking.
• Integrity and prioritization of safety and quality.

• Former experience as a mechanic, service technician, machinist, or similar.
• Associates degree in Machining or Welding Technology, Mechatronics Technology, or Facility/Industrial Maintenance Technology.

• Bending, twisting, and squatting of neck/waist; lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Computer use: typing, mouse work, prolonged sitting/looking.
• Exposure to machinery noise; hearing requirements to hear alarms.
• Standing or walking for extended periods; exposure to varying temperatures and humidity.

Hourly rate $23–$27, based on location, experience and skill set. May be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation.
