Position SummaryThis position ensures the proper operation and maintenance of all facility systems and equipment. The technician will perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and other tasks within a cGMP manufacturing facility. The shift is 7:00 PM‑7:00 AM.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Responds to emergencies as requested and uses resources to repair and ensure safety and availability of ADMA systems and equipment.
- On non‑supervised shifts, maintains continued operations of the facility, plant, and production systems, authorizing equipment start/stop and calling off‑duty personnel when needed.
- Maintains all facility systems – routine preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and documenting work performed, materials, parts, and supplies used for systems such as Water for Injection (WFI) systems, autoclaves, HVAC, steam, high‑capacity chillers, ultra‑low temperature refrigeration, cooling towers, liquid pumping, and compressible gas fluid systems including air compressors, nitrogen, natural gas, diesel‑fired boilers, clean steam, wastewater systems, etc.
- Performs all tasks in compliance with safety, health, environmental, and governmental regulations and ADMA SOPs for facility operations.
- Researches codes and existing ADMA procedures for regulatory conformance.
- Ensures outside vendors and contractors are trained in applicable ADMA procedures and monitored for compliance with all ordinances such as electrical and construction codes.
- Assists the Instrumentation Technician II with calibration and repair of devices within the manufacturing facility.
- Supports facility management in training and developing skills for Facility Operations I & II.
- Ensures the plant is clean and free of debris or clutter.
- Assists in special, demolition, renovation, and new construction projects.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Can work in a high‑pressure, deadline‑driven environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of general maintenance.
High school diploma or equivalent plus four (4) years of technical or vocational training. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
Experience RequirementsSix years or more of maintenance in a manufacturing environment and/or construction experience. Knowledge of cGMPs and ISO regulatory requirements is required.
Preferred Experience- Florida Professional License.
- Six years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/medical devices industry.
Strict adherence to FDA regulations and company policies governing operations, compliance training, accurate documentation, data privacy, and proactive participation in compliance reviews.
