Canon U.S.A. seeks a Sr Inkjet Print Operations Specialist to lead day-to-day operation of industrial inkjet printers in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will set up, calibrate, and run Canon print systems, monitor output quality, and adjust settings to meet exact color and imaging standards. Responsibilities include troubleshooting print issues, performing routine maintenance, coordinating production schedules, and documenting output. You'll collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve processes while supporting Canon's Kyosei values of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Operate and oversee Canon industrial inkjet printers for high-volume production
- Set up, calibrate, and adjust print systems for color accuracy and image quality
- Monitor output and perform detailed quality inspections, correcting defects promptly
- Troubleshoot mechanical, software, and print-quality issues to minimize downtime
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on presses and related equipment
- Coordinate daily print schedules to meet production deadlines and priorities
- Document production data, job specs, output volumes, and quality metrics
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to refine print processes
- Follow all safety, environmental, and equipment handling standards
- Train or mentor junior operators on best practices and Canon workflows
