• Provide direct patient care as a licensed professional in the ICU setting as part of the pool DPC RN team.
• Deliver patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based practice standards of quality, safety and service.
• Demonstrate proficiency in assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, planning, intervention, evaluation, and professional accountability.

• Degrees:
  Associate's degree (required);
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum Experience:
  
  18 months RN experience; 1 year acute ICU experience; BLS and ACLS required.
• Additional Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Nursing or Bachelor degree in Nursing.
  • RNs hired prior to specific dates in various facilities may have different BSN requirements; in Boca, RNs hired after 10/1/2023 with an Associate’s degree have 5 years from hire to complete a BSN.
  • RN must complete a preceptor class within twelve months of being deemed competent for independent practice.
  • Must work minimum shifts including weekends and holidays as outlined in nursing staffing policy.
  • May be required to have additional certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, ONS-Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card) as per department standards.
  • 18 months experience required (as noted).
