Per Diem Days
Position SummaryThe RN provides high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective, total nursing care to all patients using the nursing process. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the needs of the patient and family members. The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, infection control, with the goal of discharging the patient with an optimum level of care.
The RN utilizes evidence‑based practice in accordance with professional standards and adheres to the Florida State Nurse Practice Act. The RN reviews orders/test results and documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
- Education:
Minimum – Graduate of an accredited RN program;
Preferred – BSN - Experience:
Minimum – One (1) year recent experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - Required Certification/Licensure/Registration:
Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Florida;
American Heart Association BLS, PALS, & NRP required
West Boca Medical Center (WBMC) is part of the Palm Beach Health Network and has been serving southern Palm Beach and northern Broward counties for over 37 years. WBMC offers general medical and surgical care, orthopedics, a robotic surgery program, a state‑of‑the‑art breast imaging center, women's and children's services, and the only Level III NICU in southern Palm Beach County. Its two emergency centers, one at the main hospital and the other at Coconut Creek, are open 24‑hours a day.
