Schedule/

Hours:

• Day shift with possible rotating weekends.
• On-call obligations are shared depending on staffing.

Key

Qualifications:

• Valid RN licensure with ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an acute operating room environment.
• Demonstrated ability to scrub and proficiency in all service lines.
• Capability to independently manage a 1:1 patient ratio.
• Familiarity with advanced equipment, including Impella, ECMO, bypass pump, rapid transfuser, laser (lead extraction), and EVH.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system.
• Strong charting, multitasking, critical thinking, and exceptional bedside manner.
• Willingness to function across all surgical specialties, not limited to CVOR.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care in cardiovascular and other surgical specialties.
• Scrub in for various procedures, assisting with equipment and ensuring optimal patient safety.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop plans of care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain rigorous infection control practices and accurate documentation.
