Job Summary

Seasonal Nights

Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing safe and effective nursing care to all patients (Adult and Pediatric) utilizing the nursing process at West Boca Medical Center and off site at West Boca Emergency Center. The RN directs and supervises assigned personnel delivering patient care, administers and performs specialized nursing care according to assigned unit and treatment for patient, reviews orders and test results, and documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.

Eligible for a completion bonus up to $2,500 upon successfully finishing assignment with the Palm Beach Health Network in good standing.

Education: Minimum:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Preferred BSN.

Experience: Minimum: 24 month Med/Surg experience and successful and/or critical care experience; completion of a critical care training program preferred. Adult and Pediatric Emergency experience preferred.

Qualifications:

Successful completion of WBMC Medication test, unit specific test, and yearly competencies specific to unit.

Certification & Licensure: Current Florida RN License. Minimum 2 year licensed nursing practice in an Emergency Dept preferred. BLS, ACLS, PALS certification (American Heart Association). TNCC, CEN, ENPC preferred.
