Position OverviewWe are seeking a Quality Assurance Registered Nurse to join our team at Working Nurses Homecare. The QA Registered Nurse will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered to our clients by conducting quality assurance audits and implementing process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in home healthcare, strong attention to detail, and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct regular quality assurance audits to assess the level of care being provided to clients, specifically review of Oasis documentation
- Identify areas for improvement and develop plans for implementing process improvements
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality care is being delivered
- Assist in creating patient care plans and reviewing patient documentation for quality assurance purposes
- Develop and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures
- Provide education and training to team members on quality assurance and improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with external regulatory agencies
- Participate in patient care conferences and provide input for individual care plans
- Monitor and report on client satisfaction and quality of care metrics
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices for quality assurance
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in home healthcare or a related clinical setting
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
- Current CPR certification preferred
