Registered Nurse Chemo Infusion, Center For Hematology & Oncology Delray, FT, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Specialty Non-Procedural, No Weekends. Includes a $15,000 bonus.
ResponsibilitiesThe Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse (DPC RN) is a licensed professional who demonstrates proficiency in core competencies including assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability and leadership. Delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner, utilizing and promoting evidence-based practice standards of quality, safety and service.
QualificationsDegrees:
- Associates.
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Registered Nurse (RN).
Additional Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Nursing or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
- RNs hired prior to specified dates may continue in their non-leadership RN role without a BSN; RNs hired after specified dates with an Associate’s degree have 3 years to complete a BSN.
- RN must complete a preceptor class within twelve months of being deemed competent for independent practice.
- Per department standard, may require ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP or ONS-Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card.
Minimum
Required Experience:
6 months RN infusion experience. BLS required. ONS required within 6 months of hire.
