Golf Grounds Worker

Woodfield Country Club is seeking skilled golf course Grounds Workers and Equipment Operators. Responsibilities include maintaining property grounds and turf of the golf course in a playing condition as directed by supervisors. We provide competitive pay based on experience and skill level. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

• Connect hose and sprinkler systems at designated points on course to irrigate turf.
• Plants, trims, and sprays trees and shrubs.
• Safely operates equipment and mowers and pluggers used for various course maintenance needs.
• Cleans machinery after each use.
• Inspects machinery and reports equipment problems to supervisor.
• Loads and unloads materials.
• Trims trees and removes cuttings.
• Collects and empties litter cans.
• Cleans gutters, drains, and culverts.
• Mow greens, fairways, tees and rough.
• May operate smaller equipment as directed by supervisor.
• Ensures that the equipment cooling system is working at all times; refills fuel and oil daily; cleans equipment daily, and reports equipment problems or failures to Equipment Manager immediately.
• Provides basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by the equipment manager or supervisor and returns equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.

• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have valid and current Florida driver's license.
• Must have experience driving mowers, tractors, and push mowers.
