Associate II, Lab Support – Boca Raton, FL
Position Summary
The Associate II, Lab Support performs cGMP laboratory support activities including sample accessioning, product reserve management, glassware cleaning, supply inventory management, and may assist with stability studies and other QC initiatives. The role operates under GMP conditions and provides customer support to QC analysts, working cross‑functionally with other departments.
Responsibilities- Perform cGMP laboratory support activities such as sample accessioning, product reserve management, glassware cleaning, and supply inventory management.
- Provide customer support functions for QC laboratories, including cleaning glassware, shipping samples, sample preparation, and administrative support.
- Assist with stability, appearance, and reserve programs, and provide information to internal and external customers.
- Utilize and adhere to cGMP practices in documentation and execution of job functions.
- Complete documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and procedures.
- Perform other assigned QC Lab Support initiatives.
- Review and train on processes performed within the department.
- Write and revise technical documentation for department areas of responsibility such as SOPs, stability protocols, final reports, and specifications.
- Perform appearance inspections and particulate matter USP testing.
- Interact with others within and outside the department to provide customer support on issues related to department functions.
- Ensure that assigned laboratory support areas meet all regulatory requirements by verifying procedures, maintaining current recordkeeping, and identifying new requirements as they arise.
- Assist in other functions assigned by the Manager.
- Ability to work in a high‑pressure, deadline‑driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve goals, overcome obstacles, and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Preferred:
Experience with FDA regulations and company policies governing laboratory activities.
