What This Position Is All AboutAssistant Store Director:
Operations. Under the direction of the Store Director, the Manager of Operations will support execution of the operational priorities within the store. They will maintain the performance of their store’s back‑of‑house practices to drive efficiency and achieve related goals.
- Be responsible for achievement of sales, controllable profit, EBITDA, payroll management, and P&L performance.
- Manage the planning, timelines, budget, and communication of all required operational processes.
- Organize the stock room, including merchandise set up, equipment, supplies and technology.
- Execute inbound and outbound freight flow, including dock‑to‑floor processes and exception report maintenance to maintain inventory integrity.
- Resolve maintenance and repair of all facilities related issues.
- Develop and retain direct reports, ensuring their readiness for increased responsibilities and providing a bench of internal talent for critical positions.
- Participate and support training for new company programs, procedures, and technologies.
- Consistently model and coach behaviors that exceed key performance indicators.
- College associate diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of management experience with comparable volume and/or a proven track record of success managing a selling workforce and achieving results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proven sales track record and results‑driven approach.
- Strong time‑management skills and ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a high standard of customer service and build exceptional customer relationships.
- Thorough knowledge of the fashion industry and passion for sharing expertise.
- Ability to act promptly in routine situations and develop a plan of action to achieve positive results for customers.
- Ability to operate equipment such as radios, POS registers, ticket scanners, and sensor removers.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
The starting base salary for this position is between $65,000 and $73,000 per year, in addition to a bonus. Factors that may affect starting pay include market, skills, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
