YOUWILL BE
As the Beauty Sales Manager, you possess total ownership of the sales experience within your Saks Fifth Avenue store and occupy a critical role in the achievement of the company’s objectives. You facilitate partnerships across functions, leverage team skills to build a customer‑centric sales experience, and steward the Saks Fifth Avenue brand. You drive sales by developing the clienteling skills and selling behaviors of a high‑performing team, coach on the selling floor, and refine the art of connecting with clients to build sustainable relationships through exceptional service and regular outreach.
WHATYOU WILL DO
- Client Development
- Work closely with Business Managers and Beauty Advisors to build deep client relationships and drive repeat business.
- Deliver memorable shopping experiences, plan client appointments, and maximize every interaction to address beauty and skincare needs.
- Inform clients of in‑store events, diagnose spend, and identify opportunities to increase engagement and wallet share.
- Grow new client acquisition using marketing tools such as clienteling, social media, referrals, and networking.
- Handle ad‑hoc responsibilities as needed.
- Business Development through Technology
- Coach your team to use technology and data to drive business and develop a growth mindset.
- Build their personal brand as a beauty authority via proactive marketing and outreach.
- Leverage social media to promote themselves as beauty influencers and broaden connections beyond the client base.
- Use multiple technology channels to strengthen relationships, drive new acquisition, and provide 24/7 service.
- Stay informed on new merchandise deliveries to maximize selling potential.
- Beauty Expert Development
- Grow clients’ beauty closets by building technical and product knowledge through SFA educational platforms.
- Facilitate engaging inter‑sell training and liaise with brands for educational moments.
- Partner with in‑store leadership to grow and develop business.
- People Management
- Lead and develop Business Managers and Beauty Advisors, fostering an inclusive team culture.
- Coach on key performance drivers and expected behaviors.
- Manage performance issues and develop succession plans.
- Identify top talent and recruit within the local marketplace.
- Selling Floor Operations
- Support day‑to‑day operations, resolve client issues, and ensure smooth floor operations.
- Participate in opening and closing duties.
