Summary

The Cash Office Associate is responsible for accurate store cash management, preparing deposits, reconciling registers, and supporting loss prevention and operational controls. This role ensures compliance with cash-handling policies and works closely with store leadership to maintain financial integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Reconcile daily cash receipts and prepare bank deposits according to policy.
  • Audit and verify register totals, credit card transactions, and identify cash variances.
  • Maintain secure cash office operations and follow established cash-handling procedures.
  • Generate cash reports and collaborate with management to resolve discrepancies.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of cash handling or retail operations experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills for reporting.
  • Ability to follow security procedures and work collaboratively with store teams.
