The Retail Sales Associate is the face of Curaleaf, providing knowledgeable, friendly, and inclusive service to customers while expanding product knowledge, sales, and brand loyalty. The successful candidate will maintain store standards, manage cash & sales transactions accurately, and support the daily operations of a fast‑paced cannabis retail environment.

• Customer Experience & Teamwork
  • Greet and assist all guests in a warm, professional manner.
  • Build authentic connections and offer personalized product advice.
  • Resolve concerns professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Encourage loyalty by enrolling guests in rewards programs.
  • Collaborate with teammates to maintain an inclusive and upbeat atmosphere.
• Operations & Store Standards
  • Open and close the store, handle cash, and follow all procedural guidelines.
  • Check IDs, update customer profiles, and process transactions accurately.
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Support inventory tasks including restocking, fulfilling online orders, and counting products.
• Sales & Performance
  • Consistently meet daily sales goals through upselling and product knowledge.
  • Highlight deals and complementary items at checkout to boost customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about promotions and product updates.
  • Adapt to a fast‑paced, ever‑changing retail environment.
  • Take on additional duties to support team and store success.

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of customer‑facing or sales experience, focusing on service and satisfaction.
• At least 6 months of POS and cash handling experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a compliance‑driven environment.
• Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong multitasking abilities and the agility to shift priorities.
• Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new tools.
• Solid time management and organizational skills.
• Effective, calm de‑escalation techniques.
• Basic proficiency in math and computer applications.
• Positive, proactive mindset and strong conflict resolution skills.
• Initiative and a team‑first attitude.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain lasting customer relationships.
• Collaborative spirit and commitment to team success.

• Sales experience with KPI tracking and meeting sales targets.
• Familiarity with e‑commerce systems and order fulfillment.
• Previous experience in a regulated retail setting.

Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 lbs with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Close vision required at 20 inches or less.
