Sales Development Rep/SDR, Business Development
You don’t close - you open. Your job is to fill the calendar with qualified meetings on the right accounts, across the right verticals, at the right moment.
About inteQ
We build the benefits that keep customers, members, and residents from leaving. For 15+ years, inteQ has designed and run value-added benefit programs - the perks, protections, and savings offerings organizations embed into their products or sell as paid memberships. Roadside assistance, protection, pet benefits, telehealth, electronics protection, everyday savings - all delivered white-label under our client’s brand.
These programs do three things at once: win new customers, keep the ones you have, and open a high-margin revenue stream that didn’t exist before. Very few companies can build, brand, service, and support a program end-to-end. We’ve done it for decades - and demand is expanding fast.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect & build target lists. Build and continuously refine live account lists in Apollo - named buyers, not just company names.
- Research the vertical. Spot what’s heating up and why, track trigger events (funding, leadership changes, regulatory deadlines, new initiatives), and dig one layer deeper into what the buyer loses sleep over.
- Build multi-touch campaigns. Design and run multi-step sequences across email, Linked In, and phone that reference real triggers and real pain - not generic spray.
- Figure out how each vertical buys. Not every industry responds to “email + call.” Determine the channels that work for each vertical and build the cadence around them.
- Qualify, then hand off clean. Apply a lightweight qualification filter before booking and brief the closer with context before every meeting so no one’s time gets wasted.
- Close the loop. Report back monthly on what worked, which triggers converted, which titles responded, and which verticals stalled - so the knowledge compounds instead of disappearing.
- Are a naturally curious researcher who enjoys figuring out an industry
- Write well - and write like a human, not a template
- Are comfortable starting conversations with senior executives
- Can juggle 3-4 verticals at once
- Use AI fluently for research, drafting, and personalization - but know when the generic output isn’t good enough and exercise real judgment
- Are persistent without being spammy, and measure success by what you learn as much as what you book
Tools You’ll Use
- AI tools for research, drafting & personalization
- Notion to track leads in a CRM
- Instantly Email (a plus)
How We’ll Measure Success
- Meeting-to-opportunity conversion - the real signal that you’re targeting the right people with the right message.
Bonus Points
- Content can be the highest-converting lead source there is. If you can draft a sharp Linked In post, a door-opener case study, or pitch your way onto a podcast or stage, that’s pipeline - and we’ll treat it that way.
