Job Description & How to Apply Below
Boca Raton, Florida
· New Business / Hunter
International shipping runs on lubricants, and behind every vessel there is someone deciding who supplies them. This role is about being the person they take that call from.
We’re hiring an International Marine Sales Executive in Boca Raton to grow our marine lubricants business with shipowners, operators and managers in international markets.
This is a pure hunting role. You are not inheriting a book and you are not expected to arrive with one. You are expected to build one.
What you’ll do- Prospect and open new accounts: shipowners, ship managers, operators, charterers, and ship agents
- Live on the phone and on email — high-volume outreach, every day
- Quote and close lubricant supply: cylinder oils, trunk piston and system oils, hydraulic oils, greases — across the TBN range and OEM-approved grades.
- Own the deal end to end: pricing and margin, credit terms, stock availability, port coverage, delivery coordination with the physical desk.
- Handle the logistics reality — port windows, drum and IBC deliveries, documentation, and the calls that come when a vessel’s schedule moves
- Keep a disciplined pipeline in CRM and hit activity and margin targets
- Represent us at trade events and on customer visits
- A genuine hunter. You are energized by cold outreach, comfortable being told no, and you follow up until you get an answer.
- 2+ years in a commercial, quota-carrying, or transactional B2B role
- Commercially sharp — you understand margin, not just volume
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Able to work on-site in Boca Raton
- Background in freight forwarding, ship agency, chartering, bunkering, or marine fuels. If you’ve quoted rates, chased bookings, and worked port operations under time pressure, you already speak this language.
- Spanish — much of our international customer base is Spanish-speaking, so it widens the accounts you can open.
- An existing network among shipowners, operators, or purchasing and technical superintendents
- Familiarity with Incoterms, marine documentation, and port logistics
a portable book of business, an engineering degree, prior lubricants experience, or a second language.
What we offer- An established global supply desk, so you can quote with confidence from day one
- A short line to decision-makers — pricing decisions happen in hours, not weeks
