Beauty Advisor - Tom Ford

Role Overview

The Beauty Advisor reports to the Cosmetics Selling Manager and is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, driving sales of individual and vendor line products, maintaining high standards of clienteling, and ensuring a clean and welcoming selling area.

• Model all Saks Fifth Avenue Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, and Thank).
• Achieve and exceed individual sales goals, event sales goals, and department daily and monthly sales goals.
• Build and maintain excellent customer relationships as the brand expert and department representative.
• Serve as a liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and the designated Account Executive.
• Record and maintain client information and preferences using the online clienteling resource tool to drive sales.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience from initial approach through application, closing, and follow‑up.
• Maintain counter standards by ensuring a clean, tidy, and welcoming selling area.

• Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a cosmetics environment.
• Documented sales success with proven ability to exceed quota.
• Strong ability to work well in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment requiring high multitasking with minimal supervision.
• Competence in learning and using proprietary online clienteling tools and software.
• Attention to detail, initiative, and a positive, collaborative work style.
• Capacity to work independently to drive a successful business.
• Demonstrated sound business judgment and organizational ability.
• Professional makeup and treatment consultation and application skills.

Pay range: $19.16 – $23.95 per hour, determined by market, experience, and location. Starting pay will be based on work location, experience, and other job‑related factors.
