Principal Scientist, Analytical Development – Boca Raton, FL
ADMA Biologics is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to creating superior products for immunodeficient patients at risk for infection. We are seeking a Principal Scientist, Analytical Development to support the development of protein purification processes.
Responsibilities- Provide strong technical guidance to projects and mentor team members.
- Independently design, execute, and analyze experiments to meet project goals on time.
- Prepare, execute, and complete reports for assay development, qualification, validation, and verifications.
- Participate in Quality and Change Review Boards.
- Technically transfer assays to other departments.
- Serve as a technical expert in assay development and troubleshooting.
- Maintain expertise across a variety of functional and immunological assays.
- Draft SOPs and maintain knowledge of current QC assays with opportunities for improvement.
- Adhere to GMP documentation practices and review the work of other scientists on the team.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stay informed of regulatory guidelines related to assay development/qualification/validation.
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in biochemistry, chemical engineering, biophysics, biology, or related discipline.
- Experience: 10+ years of assay development experience; 5 years of experience in a GMP environment.
