Position SummaryThe primary responsibility of the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is to identify, develop, and maintain collaborative working relationships with national and regional medical and scientific key opinion leaders (KOLs) to align interests, discuss medical/scientific information and research for ADMA products and associated disease states. The MSL serves as the scientific and clinical expert for all medical information.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Provide current clinical and research information on the ADMA product portfolio and disease states such as hepatitis B, immunodeficiency, transplantation, and infections in immunocompromised hosts.
- Share competitive pipeline information with the medical/research community.
- Build relationships and maintain structured contact with KOLs in the region, conducting on‑site visits as needed.
- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information from health care providers.
- Assist with identifying investigators and sites for company‑sponsored clinical trials and help navigate investigator‑initiated research proposals.
- Provide clinical expertise to internal departments and other areas as required.
- Deliver formal presentations on scientific information in both private and public sectors.
- Support product consideration on drug lists/formularies with population health decision makers.
- Collaborate with medical and regulatory teams to ensure FDA and other regulatory compliance.
- Partner with cross‑functional colleagues (sales, marketing, market access, etc.) for patient‑ and business‑focused strategies.
- Support sales and marketing with competitive surveillance of disease states and products.
- Attend scientific conferences to gather, analyze, and synthesize new scientific information.
- Participate in the development and management of Advisory Boards and Key Opinion Leader Programs.
- Education Requirements: An advanced medical degree required:
Pharm
D, NP, PA, MD or PhD.
- Minimum 4 years of scientific or clinical experience in hematology/oncology or solid organ transplant.
- Minimum 2 years of prior MSL experience in hematology/oncology, solid organ transplant, immunology, pulmonology/respiratory, rare disease, or infectious disease.
- Support the territory with up to 70% travel, including overnight stays.
- Preferred education including DO or RPh.
- Residency/fellowship training.
- Relevant board certification.
Strict adherence to FDA regulations and company policies governing sales and marketing activities, completion of required compliance training, accurate documentation of sales interactions, and ongoing education to stay updated on relevant regulations.
