Job Overview

Front Desk/Doorman/Security opening at a luxury beachside condominium in Boca Raton. Part-time with future full-time when available. Paid training provided.

Starting pay up to $15 per hour, discussed at first interview. Opportunity for a pay raise after successfully passing the 90-day probation period. Yearly increases considered based on reliability, timeliness, performance, compliance, and conduct. Annual holiday bonuses awarded based on similar criteria. Vacation pay pays in accordance with hours worked.

Part-time. Senior-level experience preferred. Licensing not required; having a security license or verifiable security experience is a plus.

• Day shift: 6:30 a.m.
  
  - 2:30 p.m.
• Afternoon shift: 2:30 p.m.
  
  - 10:30 p.m.
• Overnight shift: 10:30 p.m.
  
  - 6:30 a.m.
• Monday through Sunday, with weekends mandatory.

• Access control:
  Maintain the safety and security of the building and its occupants; control entry of visitors, contractors, and guests.
• Customer service:
  First point of contact; treat everyone with courtesy, respect, friendliness, and helpfulness.
• Communication:
  Speak and write English effectively; secondary language skills are a plus. Basic computer skills and proper phone etiquette required.
• Record keeping:
  Keep accurate and legible logs of resident arrivals and departures, guest and contractor sign-ins, key logs, incident reports, etc.
• Enforcement:
  Follow and enforce building regulations, policies, and procedures; educate and encourage compliance; report violations to management.

Upscale environment. No security officer uniforms. Dress shirt and tie are standard.

Holiday pay (double time) for work on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Other benefits include yearly pay increases and holiday bonuses, plus vacation pay in proportion to hours worked.
