Front Desk Doorman/Security (Boca Raton)

We are hiring for a luxury beachside condominium in Boca Raton. Immediate openings on morning and afternoon shifts. Part time and future full time when available. Paid training is provided.

Compensation:
Discussed at the first interview, with another pay raise after successfully passing the 90 day probation period. Starting pay up to $15/hr.

Schedule

Current shift times are:

  • Day shift: 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • Afternoon shift: 2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
  • Overnight shift: 10:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. Monday through Sunday.

Weekends are a must.

Responsibilities
  • Access Control – Your primary function is the safety & security of this building & its occupants. You maintain control of who enters and confirm visitor destination & obtain owner permission before granting access.
  • Customer Service – As the first point of contact, treat everyone with courtesy & respect, and be friendly & helpful.
  • Communication – Speak & write effectively in English. Secondary language skills are a plus. Basic computer skills & proper phone etiquette are necessary.
  • Record Keeping – Keep accurate & legible logs of resident arrivals/departures, guest & contractor sign‑ins, key logs, incident reports, etc.
  • Enforcement – Follow & enforce building regulations, policies & procedures. Lead by example, inform & educate while encouraging compliance, and report violations to management.
Qualifications
  • Security license or verifiable security experience is a plus.
  • Flexibility to fine‑tune and streamline schedule is a plus.
  • Uniforms are not required; dress shirt & tie is the standard.
Benefits

Yearly pay increases are evaluated considering reliability, timeliness, performance, compliance & conduct. The feedback from residents is also utilized. Yearly holiday bonuses are awarded similarly. Yearly vacation pay is awarded in accordance with hours worked. Holiday pay (Double Time) is received by those who work on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Additional:
Paid training is provided. Background check & drug screening required. Resume not required but recommended.
