** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.

+ Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor and contractor entry in accordance with site protocols.

+ Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts and public personnel as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting access concerns, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations that could help to deter unauthorized entry.

+ Support screening and entry procedures for employees, visitors, and deliveries, and prepare clear reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or access-related concerns.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Guard card is required.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
