Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential communities, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity at gates and other access points, verifying credentials and/or visitor information in accordance with location protocols.
• Support access control, incident response, and after-hours security-related operations while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 or more years of law enforcement, corrections and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard card.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Bachelors Degree in criminal justice
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
