As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. In this access control role, your visible presence helps to deter security‑related incidents while using technology to document activity and share important information.

Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat, Sun – 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a residential location, verify authorization for visitors and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent application of security‑related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations, and report findings according to site expectations.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and delivery records, issue passes or credentials when required, and provide clear directions and information to support an orderly access process.

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
