Pay Rate: $24.25 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 03:00 PM - 10:30 PM Wed 02:45 PM - 10:30 PM Thur 02:45 PM - 10:30 PM Fri 02:15 PM - 10:30 PM Sat 08:15 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with verifying authorized entry of students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with location guidelines.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or security-related concerns and communicate relevant information to supervisors, local contacts, and/or first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
