Security Officer Upscale Armed Retail

Allied Universal is seeking an Upscale Armed Security Officer to protect high-end retail clients. In this role, you will provide a professional armed presence, control access, and conduct vigilant patrols to ensure the safety of customers, employees, and property. Responsibilities include monitoring for theft and suspicious activity, responding to incidents and emergencies, writing detailed reports, and working closely with store management.

You'll receive structured training, clear post orders, and opportunities to advance into leadership or specialized security roles within a safety-focused, team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible armed security presence for upscale retail locations
• Control access, monitor entry/exit points, and verify credentials
• Conduct interior/exterior patrols and observe for suspicious activity
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations per protocol
• Deter theft and loss, support retail loss prevention efforts
• Complete clear incident and daily activity reports
• Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and the public
• Follow all firearm safety, post orders, and company procedures
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders when needed
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain required licenses
