Residential Electrician

Overview

• Inspect electrical components and understand all aspects of the job
• Diagnose and identify electrical issues in the field
• Complete the required voltage and load test as required per job
• Complete work orders on time
• Complete required paperwork at the end of each day
• Guide and oversee other apprentices or journeymen electricians
• Attend scheduled company meetings
• Will be in commercial and residential settings
• Company Vehicle

• Must reside within a 35-minute commute of our Boca Raton office (local candidates only).
• Understanding of the N.E.C and local codes
• Basic rough knowledge including boxing, running MC cable, bending EMT, relocating light fixture boxes, recessed cans, switch gear installation, etc…
• Experience in 3-phase and various voltage systems.
• Knowledge of materials to make material lists for various tasks/installations.
• Competent with reading blueprints, drawings, & diagrams
• Ability to bend and run conduit.
• Test electrical systems and circuits to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements.
• Install and connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, or other components.
• Driven and self-motivated
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Clean Driver’s License
