The Work You Will DoTurnpike Maintenance Technician – Administration- TPK Support Services-Building Maintenance
This position will perform comprehensive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of building systems and equipment at the Boca Sun Pass Center. This role involves hands‑on work with HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical components, elevators, generators, UPS systems, life safety systems, and general building infrastructure.

Perform hands‑on building maintenance services of the Boca Sun Pass Center such as and not limited to: maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing large and complex building HVAC, roofing, plumbing, elevators, generators, UPS, and other mechanical and electrical building components and grounds, lighting, building management controls, life safety systems and equipment, doors and door hardware, wall repairs and painting, irrigation pump system, domestic water pumps;
piping and fixtures.
Oversee work performed by outside contractors and vendors, ensuring work is done safely and according to the Department’s standards and contract specifications.
Perform a variety of technical and non-technical trade‑skilled work, which includes, but is not limited to, repairing/remodeling/altering/constructing and maintaining hard‑walled and modular offices, bathroom fixtures, common building areas, and outside grounds.
Additional work expected includes carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and life safety related tasks.
Create, coordinate, prioritize, schedule, and complete all work order requests promptly. Upon completion of work, ensure the customer’s needs are met in a professional, timely, and satisfactory manner.
Oversee and inspect outsourced services, repairs, replacements, and maintenance performed by contractors, ensuring compliance with OSHA, FDOT, local, county, and state codes, and industry standards.
